This is a crash course in
good charting. We teach the key clinical, legal, JCAHO and billing requirements
for proper nurse documentation
using real-life examples from the emergency department. Great for new (and
some not so new) nurses!
The ED
Nursing Documentation Seminar will enhance
nurse documentation in your Emergency Room,
improving patient care and providing effective risk management. Proper Emergency
Nursing Documentation is essential for continuity of care, patient safety and
for hospital ED reimbursement, by determining and documenting the ED level of care.

the critical patient documentation skills which are necessary from a clinical,
legal and reimbursement perspective. We bridge the gap between good clinical
care and proper nurse documentation. The class emphasizes the importance
of good nursing documentation for patient care, risk management and proper facility reimbursement. By increasing appropriate ER nursing documentation and improving
allowable facility charges, this program will produce improvement in facility
coding reimbursement which will more than pay for itself the first week!
