The TCRN Review Class is an intensive review course that will prepare the emergency nurse candidate to successfully challenge and pass the Trauma Certified Registered Nurse exam. This TCRN course offers didactic video lectures along with practice questions, graphics and resource materials which provide the candidate with a solid foundation of study materials pertinent to the TCRN® exam.
Presented LIVE to a small audience in Norfolk, Virginia, this course is a full review of trauma nursing designed to assist the participant to be successful in obtaining TCRN® certification. This class covers all of the important aspects of Trauma Care in today’s EDs.
Presented by acclaimed nationally-recognized speakers, Cathy Fox, RN, CEN, CPEN, TCRN, FAEN and Andrew Galvin, ACNP-BC, CEN, this class allows you to learn at your own pace, with new, enhanced content and extensive enrichment resources. Our class is recommended for all Trauma Center ED nurses and those looking for advance trauma training.
Cathy has been a national speaker for over 23 years. She has coordinated CEN® Review courses since 1997 and was the 2009 National ENA Nursing Education award recipient. In 2013, she was inducted into the Academy of Emergency Nursing.
Andrew is an Emergency Nurse Practitioner with 24 years of experience. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant Commander and has been an active regional and national speaker for the ENA. He was a work group member of the 6th Edition Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC®). He currently works in the ED of Virginia Commonwealth University, a Level-1 Trauma Center in Richmond, Virginia.
Today’s ED Nurse serves a critical role in the Emergency Department. This important course teaches those critical trauma patient management skills that can improve patient safety in a hectic and demanding environment. Like our CEN class, this course is an advanced class for experienced ED nurses.
