This triage class is essential for every emergency nurse who does triage. It provides focused training in the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) system. ESI is the standard for ED Triage across the country and is endorsed by the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA).

Today’s ED Triage Nurse serves a critical role in the Emergency Department. This important course teaches those critical ED Triage and the ED patient management skills needed to become highly effective in this hectic and demanding environment. Our unique, interactive class allows you to learn at your own pace, with new, enhanced content and helpful enrichment resources. This ESI Triage Course is great for nurses new to triage, and an excellent refresher for experienced ED nurses.
This class is approved for 0.3 CEUs (3.0 clock hours) of nursing continuing education credits by Mid-Carolina AHEC, Inc., and meets the SC AHEC Best Practice Standards. Participants must attend 90% of the program in order to receive a certificate of attendance. No partial credit will be given.
Mid-Carolina AHEC is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by South Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This class is fully ANCC-accredited and accepted by all 50 states for CE licensure requirements.
